Manchester United vs Manchester City

The gap between the Manchester rivals has been narrowed dramatically during the last two seasons, thanks to the huge influx of cash into the club from the blue half of Manchester. The Arab owners have bankrolled City and have brought in Star players in a bid

to establish City as a top European Club. Their efforts have clearly worked out as indicated by the League table. But still there is a lot of work to be done regarding the long term sustainability of the club. This vast improvement of Man City has added more and more spice to a fixture which was not competitive few seasons ago as it is now. There is one particular player who has grabbed the headlines whenever City and United met. He is Carlos Tevez, Messiah for the blues, Judas for the reds.  This game is a battle between two teams who represent two sides of football. Utd focus in bringing youth players into the first team while City splash the cash to bring in top players from around the world. The reverse fixture earlier in the season proved to be very disappointing after city played a very defensive game and the game ended in a deadlock. This time around City need to win if they are to stand any chance of clinching the title. So it promises to be a very good match. Lets hope we get an exhilarating game. Team News: Berbatov has been benched and so is Dzeko. Silva and Kolarov will be providing the width while Toure (YAYA) will play in the playmaker role. The big news for Utd is that Ferdinand and Evans both miss out. Smalling and O’Shea come in as replacements. Catch the game LIVE on ESPN at 6:15 pm IST
